24 hour epoxy and cure time @ different temps

Anybody got a chart? I'm wondering how the cure time vs temp index looks. IOW, my garage temp is probably 90 degrees (min)......how much less than 24 hours...

My 24hr stuff is totally cured in 12 hrs in my garage during the summer.

I just go by what the left over mix looks like, if it's tacky wait a bit longer...if solid go play.

I just got back from supper. The leftover epoxy is plastic-hard after 10 hours. Pretty hot in the garage. August in Florida!

Can it get too hot? I just put a club in the backseat of my car in 90* sunny weather. Gotta be 120* in there. I think I'll take it out in an hour and leave it in the garage.

I think most epoxies used for shafting today release at about 280° F.

Just saw a vid on Taylormade website. Not sure what type of epoxy they use(they said 'glue' 😲), but it's heated at 120* for 20 minutes, ready to go down the line.

Interesting. I haven't done many "head flew off" repairs over the years.......maybe a handful, but most of them were Taylormade. Might be a coincidence.

sdandrea1 I pulled the shafts from my Sim Max, after using those flyweight graphite just 1 round. It only took 10 sec. of heat to loosen the heads. It was a scary sight/thought.

The reason I brought it up was I glued a club together in the evening and wanted to use it mid morning next day. I wasn't too worried because:

A. It's 95 degrees in the shade here and epoxy cures way faster.

B. At my swing speed I could probably use duct tape to build a club.
