PA-PLAYA I remember the Canterbury Big Brother heads. I think they were more than Clones. They were closer to out-and-out copies. I put together 3-4 sets of these for friends and used a set myself for 2 years, if I recall correctly. I don't remember what the name of the company was that I got them from was, but the guy called himself Andy. He didn't sound like any Andy I ever knew. He had a heavy far east accent. I remember the last set I ordered from him took longer than usual to get. I called him to inquire why and was told his past shipment was confiscated by customs officials when the boat arrived in California. He called me back a week later and told me the set was now headed my way and I should have it in a little over a week. He had moved to the Vancouver, BC area and would ship them to me via regular Canada and US mail. So far, that had been safe for him. I thought, "Wow, what kind of operation had I gotten involved with." He even had graphite shafts that were look a like's to those of Callaway and also had the same specs. Nothing actually had the Callaway name on it though. The whole thing bothered me enough that I never called him back again. Those clubs sure were nice though. I let several guys who played the actual Callaway clubs alternate hitting shots with their clubs and my clubs and they said they couldn't tell the difference. I originally started playing clones because my wife and I were just starting out and I couldn't afford to buy the real versions.
