Par4QC Well, that was eye opening! Just checked the soles, compared to the other sets I've been using. Can't believe I overlooked that point, but did notice last round that the leading edge of the AW was similar to a wedge grind(bevel?). All of them have a slightly similar design. My other sets, all just flat soles/leading edges.
That is the #1 fitting factor (sole design-type of turf and predictable lie-golfers swing AofA) by the majority of all golfers! Good you know that. Most go from one set to the next iron head design and wonder why? ☺
Major brands overlook this in a big way as do so called professional indoor fitters who never see the player being fit off grass-turf just mats huge mistake IMO. Grass does NOT lie mats do! 😎
