CallMeAl When my Norelco died, I went with a Braun also.
Sounds like me. I traded in my Norelco for a Braun. I started with a Series 3, then moved to a Series 5 and I'm now on my third Series 7. I really like the shave they provide. What I don't like is their trimmers. Every single one's trimmer has broken. The small plastic parts that hold it open seem to break very easily. I've toyed with possibly trying a Panasonic but haven't done so yet just because I love the shave from the Braun. I didn't like the Norelco at all. It was very slow, not that the Braun or any foil shaver is fast (but compared to the Norelco it is). The Braun's usually last around two years for me and then the charge doesn't last as long as when newer and I get sick of having to charge it all of the time, so I move on to my next shaver. At first the Braun shavers held a charge for about two weeks and then tapered off to around a week after about two years for me. When I started shaving I used a Remington. I had to quit using them because they "Chewed up my face."
