Walterjn Walter, when people propagate things during a worldwide pandemic that put everybody at higher risk of dying, of course people are going to take those things seriously.
FYI, mRNA vaccines have been in development and use for other diseases for well over a decade. I first learned about mRNA vaccine promise back in 1996. It is not something that was cobbled together in less than a year.
Politics only enters into the equation if you let it. People who have an underlying mistrust of government are prone to thinking that anything the government says is bad. I get it. But it was Trump who led the charge to get the vaccines developed. It baffles me why so many of ins supporters are loathe to believe that the vaccine might actually be the answer when, at the same time, they want to have Trump take credit for Operation Warpspeed, which, although poorly named, did help us to get several excellent vaccines in a hurry. Can't have it both ways. Either the project was a success and the vaccines are good, or the vaccines are bad, and it is Trump, not the Democrats, who shoved them down your throat.
As for the masks, the virus isn't excreted by itself, it is packaged up with respiratory secretions into things called respiratory particles or droplets. These can be and are trapped by masks. Mask wearing clearly was successful in slowing spread and saved many lives. The particles generated by painting are a lot smaller than the respiratory particles that contain the virus.
Believe what you want to believe, but know that a lot of what you are being fed is nonsense. Here's a good one.... if people think that the openings in masks are too large to contain the virus, why do they also think that the masks will capture carbon dioxide and thus be dangerous to wear? Here's a news flash: carbon dioxide is a molecule. It is a lot smaller than even a naked virus. Again, can't have it both ways. If the mask can contain carbon dioxide, making it dangerous, then it must contain the virus. If the pores are so large that the virus could easily escape, then they can't trap carbon dioxide and are, therefore, safe.
Do you see what I am saying? They are feeding you a pack of lies and garbage, tossing anything and everything up against the wall to see what sticks. If you think about some of this stuff even a little, you can see how self-contradictory it is.
