However, I've been doing the same thing regarding my driver, short course, experimentation and expectations for over 30 years. lol
In regards to Walter, he's never going to up his driver game by staying on the range, or by leaving it in the bag just because he's on a short course, or, by being score focused.
He's setting himself up for failure when he gets to a long course, imo.
Anyway, putting a fatter grip on his driver just before the long course (and slicing it more) didn't help. I brought it up only because a fat grip can be a cause of extra slice.
