I wish I had been into this when I was in Myrtle Beach, he teaches out of Pawley's Plantation. His rate has probably tripled now though. What really got this working for me was when I realized how open he gets and (in my mind) hits with the right shoulder. It's the same as Ron Del Barrio teaches but I never got the "hit with the right shoulder" thing til now. I guess you could also pull up and away with the left shoulder if that works for you.

Three steps to a better golf swing on Eric Cogorno's Youtube with Milo Lines as guest is probably the most important golf instruction video ever. The idea ls all Milo's. I have decided that Milo is the guy that offers me the best chance of really getting better and especially of getting more consistency.
I haven't yet watched the Sam Goulden video, but from the pictures it looks like it is very similar to what Milo is teaching.

Milo is on Be Better Golf’s You Tube channel a lot. The guys name is Brendon and he sees multiple teachers to get their approach to the golf swing.

Interested to hear more regarding his subscription service. Using YouTube just doesn’t give a sequence. Start here, do this next? How about his service?

That's the way it's been with me too......BUT something on his w/s really started clicking
with me in the last couple of days.

I've been an over the topper for what seems like forever, and learned to live with it.
Then he had his dad on (who is just about as goofy as Tom) doing a couple drills to
fix his OTT move, and along with another video I think I finally know what it 'FEELS' like
to hit the ball from the inside. 🤞
Like I've said before, for a measly 10 bucks (cancel anytime) it's money well spent! IMO

Today it was 115°, so practice was pretty limited.
But NOW I'm really looking forward to playing golf again....whereas before I dreaded every hole on the damn course.

Agreed! It takes awhile for any swing methodology to take over probably months for the majority. The quick fixes never work IMO. Tom's website is good and reasonable the only thing it doesn't include is critique of your swing via video which costs extra.

Just my take but I do think for most of us it would take a good 6 weeks of a swing change working on it daily to effect a major change and in that time one should stay off the course and just work on swing change. Problem is in northern climates taking 6 weeks out of a golf season is a large part of the season.

One thing I got from his w/s that is starting to click with me was,
in the downswing make sure the hands are always closer to the ball than
the clubhead is at about waist high.

I can’t say I’ve adopted all his teachings but this swinging around the body is a good one for me.

His w/s is more a step by step process and some of it is the same thing you'd see
on Youtube.
But there's a lot more in-depth stuff for members only....and $10 won't break the bank.

+1 Agree you are not going to learn the step by step process watching YouTube videos. $10 is cheap compared to most teaching sites. One down fall video critique is extra.

Also if you want to understand Plummer and Bennett's Stack and Tilt and the point of tangency stuff etc which is the basis of S&T the underpinnings then you should also understand Plummer and Bennett. Here's Michael Bennett 17 shots in a row. That's where Tom Saguto comes from.

Played with a guy today who was a Saguto disciple. He was really my brother from another mother as we all knew the same youtube instructors and jumped from guy to guy. But he was hooked on Saguto and Sam Goulden. Funny thing was, his swing looked nothing like stack and tilt. He really didn't set up with his weight forward, definitely didn't drop the front shoulder down on the backswing and even had a little weight shift to the back leg. I guess that's why you can't take reviews of certain swings with any real seriousness, because while he loved the saguto swing, but he doesn't appear to actually being using any of it. So if he didn't like it and posted here that the swing sucked, we'd never know that he's really not even using it, even though he thinks he is.

Yeah, it’s all about intent. But intent may be completely different that actuality.

I’m using more knee bend. It feels like my knees are really bent like Keegan Bradley. When I see it on video they don’t look anywhere near as bent as I feel.

I also use an open stance. It feels like I’m really open, but on video it doesn’t look anywhere near as open as I feel.

But again, with any swing feel it’s the intent. Most likely you won’t be doing what you feel. But since we can’t see ourselves swing in real time, it’s all we have.

Exactly perception is NOT reality. How many times have many of us here said the same thing. I know I have. Video displays reality! 😁
