sdandrea1 Fat-soled shovels that tell the word you suck, but are stupid-EZ to hit and give you your best scores.
Me! I used to consider myself "good," (although I know now I was only fooling myself), and this led me
to probably playing with irons that required more skill than what I have. A set of Ping i5's several years ago, a set of Callaway Xr's more recently, and reaching the age of 70 finally relieved me of that attitude!! In the last few years I've experimented with a couple of sets of Pings, Acer XD/HT, and various Adams offerings until finally, I've hit on a set of Adams a12OS hybrid irons with the fat soles that seem to fit me perfectly! I do know that since I've embraced easier-to-hit clubs and moved up to either senior tees or at least a "blended" set of whites and golds the game has
become much more fun, and I'm shooting better scores than ever...!
