Finally got a second round in and the M5 continues to perform at least forgiveness wise. This thing just wants to find the fairway. I had another sub par ball striking round in general but the M5 was in or right around the fairway all day. I made one swing that was so bad I immediately looked way right thinking it was deep in the woods if not across to the other fairway. I was shocked to see the ball down the right rough and draw back into the right side of the fairway. No way I deserved a "fairway hit" on that swing. Twist Face at work , maybe?
Still not terribly long with this shaft combo although I tend to get the outlier drive that goes 250, so the potential is there.
I wanted to loft up to see if I'd get more distance with the low spin but forgot until the last hole. i lofted up to 14* and tried to hold the club square. High and right down the middle but no extra distance noticed. More experimentation needed. Also want to loft down to see if I can get more distance through run out.
Without a doubt this thing is more accurate for me then the PING but not as forgiving on off center hits as I seem to lose more distance then with the PING. Definitely need to try another shaft in it, too.
