I don't have a Holy Grail Club at the moment.....although if you tried to take my 60* Cally MD5 LW you would have a fight on your hands.

No holy grails as of now. The only club I've ever worn out was the 56 degree sand wedge that came with the first set of clubs I ever owned (I can't even remember the name, but they were Ping knockoffs I bought around 1985). That club was money and the only club I ever used from 100 yards in for 15 years. Finally wore the grooves out enough that distance control went down hill.

Callaway 2015 Great Big Bertha 3 (Aldila Rogue Silver 70) and 5 (Aldila Tour Green 75) fairways. Ridiculously hot faced, easy to hit, perfect look at address and great feel/sound. I only look for backup heads now for these.

Toss-up between TEE CB1 3w and 5w, both are rock solid performers that delivery better results than my anemic swing should produce. I've tried a few other fw's but I've come back to the TEE CB1's every single time to the point that I don't even look any more. Off a tee or from the fairway, there's nothing better for me, very confident every time I pull one or the other.

The closest for me would be the Maltby TS-1 iron heads. Shafts and/or grips might change, but it would take a pretty amazing head to beat these out for distance/dispersion/forgiveness/consistency.

There should be a sister thread to this one for the current "Dead-man-walking" club in the bag. The one which is the closest to falling out of favor and being replaced. Because ... it's ALWAYS the club! 🤪

Closest I've had is Ping G10 21* hybrid. Bought it new and it was in my bag until last year. It's still giving me the eye from the spare bag...

The closest that I have is my 54° wedge (Vokey SM7 - S grind, 2 degrees flat) - the only reason that it doesn't meet the criteria is that it'll be replaced when I wear it out...
