raggmann54 This is a beach on Lake Erie in Ashtabula, Oh today...Steady winds of 60mph from a cold front blasting its way South and East caused 27 foot waves (new record) and a 4 foot drop in water level in Western Lake Erie and flooding along Eastern Lake Erie near Buffalo. Next came the Lake effect Snow for the area...Mother Nature is angry about something...
fatshot We're supposed to get 3-5 inches in NW Ohio tomorrow afternoon into Sunday. Gonna head out and get the snow blower fired up and the riding lawnmower back in the shed......
Par4QC I just cannot put it in words like the local meteorologist can........... Total snowfall accumulations will range from 8-12" with isolated higher amounts along and south of I-80. FML......I live South of I-80.............😫
johnnydoom Sunny and 37 degrees right now. Last good day to do stuff outside for a while, but I want to enjoy my time with the college kids while I can and my daughter doesn't do much outdoors except go for walks. Highs are going to be in the 30's for an extended period of time after today.
mulegolf It's 23° here right now with partial sunshine but after 5pm today it's supposed to start snowing. They're now saying we will get around 7" by midnight tomorrow. They were saying 8" to 12" but backed that off a bit today. I'm glad they did. Another good part of the forecast is that the wind is only supposed to gust to about 25 mph so that shouldn't drift the snow too badly. Unless it's really light fluffy snow it seems to take winds of 30 mph or more to really get it going.
Typhoon Can’t believe you guys are talking snow. We have another 120 days or so of listening to Azgreg bragging about the heat🤬. We ended our asylum’s season with snow flurries. Sorta liked putting the last cart away and locked the gate while it was snowing a bit.
Spuzz Typhoon Can’t believe you guys are talking snow Foot and a half since Thurs night. More on the way tonight. Going to Golftown today to make me feel better, then to the mall to complain to Santa.
Typhoon We might get some snow on Wednesday. I think I’ll go out today and blow out under the deck, along the fence and down the hill where I haven’t touched this fall yet. Maybe work on bringing in the deck furniture.
Par4QC CallMeAl That looks to be about as much as I have right now. But, it's still coming down. Bigger flakes now also.
Par4QC CallMeAl I just went out. Maybe 8" or so with it coming down steadily still. That shit is heavy AH! Only did about 1/3 of what I have. I do it in sections, so on break now.😉
LogicalOne Not a great picture but I think you get what the weather is like here, in the background. 😐
Par4QC Typhoon I don't think a snowblower would do much good as wet as it is at the bottom. Went out 3 times and quit til tomorrow. Still coming down now at 5:30. Over 11" so far and supposed to keep coming til midnight, some places are over 13" right now.
Typhoon Used the tractor to pick up the rest of the leaves. Blew them out of the bushes and mulch areas out front and out back. Blew them away from the fence and got everything up with the tractor. Next I finished the trimming/edging out back. Took 5 hours. Also covered the cactus out front. Wanted to get it done before the possible snow this week.
Par4QC Typhoon I am. Only for this week. I took a sabbatical from my medical advisor practice. That's my stuntman in the pic. The public gets vicious here with bad weather reports.
