I talked to a guy the other day who was cleaning out a house and there were a couple bags of clubs that he thought he’d drop off at the course and we could do what we want with them. I said sure... thinking this guy knows nothing about clubs so maybe there is something decent. He did say it was old crap. So he brings down 2 rodent eaten bags and Headcovers. Shit Patty Berg and old H&B irons with leather grips. But there was a newer 2 ball white hot putter I grabbed. Just need to clean the rust off the shaft.
But... the real find... as I’m throwing them out in the dumpster I see a Mizuno Putter. I notice the shape, it’s rusted to shit. I look at the face and see "“Scotty Cameron"... jackpot!! It’s a rare M-001 putter. I just filled out the form on Scotty to have it refinished to original, reahafted and authentication. They’re going for $500.
