Wild game, who here eats it?
Many moons ago, a buddy and I caught an American Eel hook & line and kept/cooked it. Delicious. I know
why they are protected now... Love fresh caught freshwater or ocean fish.
My family has roots in the Aleutian Islands in Alaska. A family member came to visit us many years ago and brought us Karaboo sausage and a Karaboo roast. From what I remember it was very tasty.
My dad was a hunter and also liked to fish. Although we did fish often when I was young, I've never liked eating fish or seafood. We did have venison and other game now and then, it's not bad if it's cooked well. I've had some pretty gamey game though, if you know what I mean. Probably the weirdest meat was muskrat. Actually didn't taste that bad, but smelled HORRIBLE while it was cooking.
Well, if you count fish, then I've caught and eaten lots of wild game.
Rickochet Good in sushi though
Bravopilot Good in sushi though
I think I would eat a cat turd before I would eat sushi. Raw oysters too. Aaaak!!!
Does bearded clam count?
Went and caught some fish today to put in the freezer. Even kept a pretty decent size Bluegill hybrid to cook hole for my son who has never had bluegill. He is pretty adventurous when it comes to food and will try just about anything once.
Pheasant when I was a kid. Otherwise, nada.

I've eat a ton of different wild game and still would. I just can't kill or clean it.
