Our course went to bottled water a few years before covid hit (probably for the liability issues). Its a private course so our dues increase covered it for sure. But coolers with iced bottles of water every 3-4 holes is worth it.
The sad consequence - the course closest to my house used to have free lemonade at a crossroads in the course (pass it twice, and come close a third time). They had to abandon as well - poo.
