Sl1111 I will say, Steve did contact me about these but he decided he didn't need another set, We had a nice text convo back and forth about the eye2, value, and serial #'s. I think he was actually considering it for a minute, Haha.....
sdandrea1 Sl1111 I'm still considering it..........dammit! Typhoon called me a pussy. If he lays down the double dog dare on me........
Release sdandrea1 I came close, but I don't think even I can justify 4 sets of Eye 2 irons. NOW ! you only have 3 sets left.....
Release sdandrea1 Bought the Eye2 because the shop owner convinced me of how easy it is to hit a golf shot without warming up.... ( for him ). I was single and that purchase was the biggest ticket for months. It's resting in the box now because other sets play better for me.
sdandrea1 Release I put AXE Excalibur graphites in mine and take them out for nostalgic purposes. I also use them as a travel set when flying to destinations. Solid performance but yes my G15s play better.
Release sdandrea1 Who knows. I might put a r flex shaft in the eye2 this coming Summer. The OEM shaft is too stiff and no feel to its.
Release I know there are tons of the Ping Eye 2 out there but with time sliding by, it'll become one of the collectors item if the game of golf is still being played in 50-100 years. I'm not selling my set for less then 1/3 of what I paid for it. Someone in my family would love to have it in the future.
sdandrea1 Release I still take mine out periodically and play a round with them. Classic solid clubs.
Release sdandrea1 After taking my set of Ping Eye 2 out of the storage box and played several rounds with it, I could not play mid to long irons as well as the other sets. Love the Sw, Pw, 9-6 Anyway, cleaning them up and packing them away, again.
