When this was a topic of discussion on FGI and here, I never did get around to asking a question I had in mind. So, if you don't mind, I'll ask it now.......Why??
Why does it have to be 3 changed things.....shorter and more loft + more weight? Why not just a shorter driver, as that is the reason people are not hitting straight. Loft is totally irrelevant to that aspect.
I am not sure why you would think loft is irrelevant. More loft means the ball goes higher and generally has more backspin, which would counteract any sidespin that people normally would have, so it should go straighter.
