Can't blame someone for how they feel, but it is a little different if they're willfully choosing it.

The Buzz thread on vaccination reactions had well over 100 responses. Most posted reactions (if any) also for spouses, parents, family, friends, or others they have a relationship with. Maybe 400-500 jab reports from most areas of the country and persons from all walks of life and different age groups?

So, how many posters have come back subsequently to report that ANYONE they reported on have tested positive ANYTIME after their jab? I'll take a cross-section of this population before I rely in any way on a petri dish environment in a nursing home.

(I have a life so I'm not going to go back and count how many persons' experiences were reported. But I'm going out on a limb and claim 100% efficacy among our group.)

She is a tireless assumer. And when you're the only offspring in a situation that affords traveling 600 miles to take care of her when she does this stuff to herself (twice per month on average) you kinda get tired of doing it, even if it is your own mother.

Part of it is just choosing to be rebellious, part of it is wanting attention. And what better way to get attention is there than to manufacture the need for someone to take care of you around the clock because you refuse to listen and take care of yourself?

There are a lot of unqualified ignorant people who ASSUME stuff they know nothing about. Everybody's an expert these days, except the experts.

Assuming isn't good. I just wanted to know if she spent hours and hours studying up on her care, or was just what you described her as. They're different things. The assumer is much worse. You know I believe everyone should be their own best advocate for their health, but not with assumptions.

Man, that can't be easy on you given your situation. Have you thought of moving her in? Does that bring horror music?

If I had no other choice, of course. But she wouldn't dare consider that. She's stubborn and needs everything her way, and she knows if she came home to live with me - that's a nonstarter.

So I just pray, encourage, and help out when and where I can.

Whether they have the info or not, they report it. I hope you see how that works; if you watch TV, I'm sure you know. They make it up, or cherrypick it, in order to sensationalize. Like NBC did yesterday about the police shooting of the teenage girl, attempting murder. BIG trouble now for that network. They reported it as another police/black shooting, and tried to sensationalize it. Backfired in their faces, big time.

Par4QC I don't trust the media for most anything, maybe the local happenings. I have a place I go for national media deconstruction, mostly because that place bothers to find the whole story, backstory, and audio clips of the media/ politicians contradicting themselves with statements from the past, even if it was a week ago.

DC300 Why would anyone give up 40 hours a week to lose pay?

To have a job where they could contribute to their employer, society, and maybe start a career with growth? To not sit at home on their ass, sucking off the taxpayer's tit? I dunno.....just a thought. 😉

sdandrea1 That would require self respect, which the trophies for everyone generation, never learned to earn. When it doesn’t matter if you work to get the return, you never learn to work.

I can’t sit still, so If I wasn’t employed, I would be doing something anyway. Albeit, I’d probably stay off the books so Creepy Joe keeps his hand out of my pocket, not telling what he might grab for.
