No surprise to those that have golfed with me (hence kchacker's fun above), but here is my only video story...
I was just coming off ACL reconstruction and realizing I could not play soccer for the rest of my life. Golf seemed to be the longer term solution to my sporting desires. So a friend of mine and I attended one of John Jacobs' Golf Schools (as I had never had a lesson before). Four days of beating balls and getting instruction. They took video on day 1 or 2 - this was back in the VHS days.
The entire class gathered as videos of each person were reviewed. They saved mine for last, an ominous tone.
They finally get to me, and made a game of my backswing. One of the instructors would advance it frame by frame, each time asking the class if they thought I was done. I got to parallel and a few said yes. Then past parallel, a few more said yes. Then way past parallel, almost everyone finally said yes. Nope, there was more! By the time I was done the club had to be over 300 degrees from where it started, almost hitting my own leg! The class was aghast.
I am proud to say I've made adjustments over the years, I've probably shortened up the back swing an entire five degrees! 😛😜
