Good afternoon! Posting from Fort Livingroom this afternoon and chillaxin in my power recliner. 🙂
Everything went as well as could be expected and the pain isn’t too bad. Nice to manage this without narcotic grade pain medication!
Funny, but the weirdest part of the whole ordeal was coming to in the OR right after the surgery. The nurses were laughing and having a good ol time and Usher was blaring on the radio intercom. No lie... I honestly thought I'd miraculously transitioned to a block party! lol
So far so good. Getting around pretty good on my walker, can bear a good deal of weight on my fixed side. Just gotta take it slow and steady and do what I need to do to avoid clotting, and getting some movement going every few hours to avoid getting stiff. Got my exercises they want me to do 2-3 times per day.
hard to believe but my right leg is the same length as my left leg again!
Hope you’re still getting along well Martee. No golf today but one day closer to bitching about my pull hook again. 😁
