I've had good luck with the fairways from the XCG-5. Had the 11.5 degree 3 wood on that -- was long and easy to elevate from a good lie. I would just put it on a tuft of grass off the tee. Currently have the E8 Beta 4 wood -- it's plenty long enough for me. Also have the XCG-7 3H. I had the EXS 4 wood and the 3 hybrid and they were a little too hooky for me -- I was surprised, since I never had that before with any other Exotics. But that 4W was long -- just had this 30 yard draw I decided I had to live without.

I had an Exotics CB2 3 wood that was long, long, long. Hit it off the tee quite a bit back in the day

Looking at their recent Hot Launch irons along with a few others for the bag this year.

I still bag an Exotics CB1 3wd and 5w and have found none that suit me better. I'd never say a fw was EASY to hit but these are usually reliable if I don't get greedy and swing for the fences. If I can make center-face contact, especially with the 3w, I'm confident I'll get better results than my swing should deliver. The 3w is also a great off-the-tee club when hitting into the wind, the low piercing trajectory gives me plenty of roll-out.

I've tried a few of the Exotics drivers and never found one to be anything out of the ordinary. Never tried any of the hybrids or irons.

I've been very pleased with the performance of the ones I've had. I liked the JMax Tour iron-woods a great deal and their Milled Face wedges were outstanding. I also had a set of Exotics irons (can't remember which) that were great performers. I've gotten good performance out of the Exotics hybrids and woods that I've tried, but I've always gotten rid of them eventually because they seem to have more bulge in the face than my eye prefers.

Tour Edge makes great stuff. Own a bunch of it and highly recommend.

Exotics hybrid I owned was if high quality.

PapaD tested and approved. I have a HL4 DRIVER. Affordable performance.

sdandrea1 Agreed, because of his rec I now have a HL4 driver and HL3 4-wood, both still in plastic, now to actually get out and play.

I have gamed their fairways for years. First used the Trilogy 3W & 5W, which are still in my backup/visitor bag.

Now using TEE E8 3W & 4W with Mitsubishi Bassara shafts (light and moderate torque)--very straight & long. Also have TEE EXS driver with Mitsu Tensei--loved it until XXIO 9 edged it out (Note: EXS Driver could be available).

Well-made clubs, perform well,, feel great & work (and made in USA!)...
