Walterjn So, I have saved about $50.00 and gotten to learn how to build a newer club( minus grip installation).

You'll probably save at least that much on the other 12 drivers you build....it's a slippery slope! 🤣

Tcafla I already know UPS and FedEx peoples. I get to occasionally help a friend with her skateboard business. Last year she sold 2500 skateboard decks in a week and had to pack up the orders and ship them out. I got to help with that. UPS and FedEx were picking up pallets a day, every day...

You won’t have fingerprints... the epoxy will give you smooth tips.... or you’ll burn them off with a heat gun.

Learning to reshaft is dangerous...even more so with the shaft adapters so you can go to the range with one head and 4 shafts to try and then when 3 all work the same you go home and pull the adapters off, sell the shafts and get 3 more and start all over again

Thank God I never dabbled in building irons!

Walterjn Walt, I'm seeing something I don't like, in pic #2. Where did you get that adapter? That ferrule looks like it is an iron ferrule, .370, not .335. It does not fit.

Did you have the same gap when putting the shaft in the adapter?
