So a shaft review.....Aldila Rogue Elite Orange 788. I like it. How's that for a review? The numbers on the shaft (basically part of the model) refer to the firmness rating from the tip (7) middle (8) and the butt (8) so in the series (green, blue, orange) this is the highest launching of the 3. By no means is this a noodle. I would compare this to a Tensei AV Raw Blue with probably a slightly softer tip. If you need a firm or stiff tip this probably isn't for you. The best news is that there are some of these in the market place floating around CHEAP. I hit the Tensei pretty straight. This shaft is straight to a slight fade so far.

Typhoon Yeah it seems pretty decent so far. If I can learn to trust the ball flight it may keep me out of the left rough, but that remains to be seen. Another thing I liked about that shaft is that the tip was firm enough (along with be rest of the shaft) to keep the ball flight down. Not quite as nice feeling as the AV Raw Blue. Possibly the dumbest graphics I've seen.
I miss those 2 courses that used to be down behind that range. I had a fairly close encounter with what I feel was a wolf hybrid out on the Jungle course.

Took out the R7 Mini driver demo club today. The only model we have is stiff flex, 13.5 loft. All 14 fairways hit and easily 10 to 15 yards longer than all of my drivers. The rollout is where the extra distance is coming from. I could tell the shaft was stiff, but it didn't feel like it was costing me anything (weird). Maybe less spin with that shaft? Trajectory seems just right. Low round of the year, to boot (77).

You may want to swap out that Stiff for an Extra Stiff to gain another 20 yards. 🤔🥴

You give it all the credit then next thing you know it will shit all over you next round. May even allow balls in the woods. Or water.

Clubs are fickle, jmo, of course. High praise sometimes means zilch to them.

I bought the Maltby TS1iM. (4 - GW) Love, Love, Love.

These are the sexiest clubs I've ever had. Feel amazing. Ball flight killer. Distance perfect.

Also got Tour Edge Exotics Wingman wedges in 54, and 58. Jury is still out, but hey.....they're wedges.

This R7 Mini is legit for me. Must be a really good fit in playing length, shaft weight/flex. All of the face marks are in the center. Fairways and 10 more yards. Occasionally I get a push miss. That's just looking up too soon to watch🤣

Witnessed one of these in play during couples league last night…the hubby of the couple we played with was absolutely killing his new R7 mini…no need for this dude to bag a driver anymore based on what I saw…I should have asked to take a swing with it but I didn’t.

I may have already posted this but the Juggernaut Max 3 Wood from Hireko is a winner. I have a Pro Launch Blue in mine. I used to max out at about 190 with my old Adams 3 wood and could get the big fade or hook on bad shots. The Max just wants to go straight. I've gotten up to 220 with the Max. It's a huge pancake head. I just picked up the 5W even though I love my 5W just in case these go out of stock.

The club seems to only be available in stiff or regular.

Typhoon I have an Epic Speed LS that I could always hit as good as any driver. Had a HOF shaft in it, 55g, A flex.
I had a DTG Limey, 67g., R flex, with a Callaway adapter on it and just to change things up, stuck it in the Epic.
I have hit several PB drives on some of the holes at my main course!! And in the FW every time/most times/sometimes/occasionally.
Not changing it!
