Looks like the TM Qi10 core model has earned its spot in the bag. This year I had an OG Sim which was fine but often used the G400 max. I finally took out the Qi10 for a few rounds. Looks great at address and the distance and accuracy was eye opening. I was used to where my max would end up. And it was fine with me. The Qi10 being 5 years newer was a huge improvement in distance. And even though it’s not the same moi as the max I hit it just as straight.

That reads like salesman bullshit to me!!

    🤣😂

Par4QC No.. salesman bullshit would have been trying to convince someone who had last years model that this years was much longer.

I was underwhelmed yesterday by the new Cobra LTDX Max. Nothing wrong, but nothing special either. I've pretty much reached the point where drivers are drivers. Good looking unit.

With headcover and tool. 12 degree. MINT/NEW-ISH. I paid $179. Make me an offer?

sdandrea1 I've pretty much reached the point where drivers are drivers.

At your clubhead speed you are right. No offense… and you know that. The Ping Rhapsody always worked well for you because it had spin to give you more carry. All the new drivers will go the same for you. Forgiveness?? Don’t know if you really hit it far offline to worry about it.

Draw models are usually higher spin too fyi

          Typhoon Forgiveness??

Not to humble brag, but my swing is so short, I usually hit the center of the club face. Thanks John. How's the pup doing?

sdandrea1 Right, you don’t need forgiveness and the Max heads are all about forgiveness not distance. The low spin heads are no good for U either because you need the spin with your speed. It’s tough to find a modern low spin head that you’ll launch high enough to maybe see something good.

A cheap experiment would be a 12 or 14 degree SLDR head. It’s low on forgiveness… who cares, and low spin… but you can take the 12 degree up to 14 or the 14 up to 16 which will get you pretty high launch and low spin. I would LOVE to see how that works for you…. It’s all about maximizing the head at this point for you.

              I beg to differ.
Have had the Darkspeed LS, Smoke TD, (have) the Epic Max LS, Cobra Aerojet LS, and a Rogue ST TD TC. Have hit all equally as well and as far, even farther, than I ever have. Today I used a 455DB 8* and hit it the same as any of those.

It's all in the way you hold your mouth when hitting them(drivers). It has nothing to do with the head/shaft combo.

(no emoji..... in order for post to be taken seriously)

azgreg So, I've had these in the bag for a little while and they are really solid wedges. Can't complain at all. I'm playing them in 52°, 58° (at 57°), and 62°.

OK. After another half dozen rounds and range sessions these just might be the best wedges I've ever played.

Par4QC One of the guys on my golf trip still has an original HiBore driver. I just emailed him about the new one saying it's a sign he should finally change......although I did suggest he wait for the sale in 2026.

Eguller 'Activwing'. Just no mistaking them for turbulators!!

Shaft has an 8g counterweight installed.

Doing a bit of math, head must be around 205g inc. adapter. 320g total weight.

Gotta love a company that is not afraid to 'go back'.....triangular shape!

Their ad says it's "new". I'm old, but I still remember that last triangle-shaped drivers. This ain't new.

These are easier to hit than they look. Great forged feeling. Old school lofts, soft landing shots. PapaD approved.

sdandrea1 To be honest, even though you might think game improvement is the way to go, some of us, me included hit the old school shaped/sized irons better. If you have any kind of skill level like you do Steve, I am not surprised you hit these irons better than a set of blobby wide soled Acers.
