Actually, if we took a poll of which Buzzer we would most like to tee it up with sdandria1 would very likely win.

Ok back to club reviews if you assholes are done pummelling me. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The Kirkland wedges got a good workout today in a league game. I took all 3 lofts out. They now have DTG graphite shafts in them (FGS Vision, FGS Custom Color and FGS Tour Launch). I used them all on a few full shots off the turf and 3 sand shots (the 56 & 60). All the things I said about them before (all good), still stand PLUS the graphite was a noticeable improvement in feel for me. I recommend these for any handicap player in steel if you like that heft or reshafted to graphite. They're very good performers.

Made a nice sand save with the 60 and a nice 70 yard approach with the 52. Those were memorable from today. ๐Ÿ‘

Acer XV Pro irons on iDrive Tour graphite. Look good at address, turf-friendly sole grind, solid feel, high flight. Lofts aren't over-jacked. Nice topline. At $12.95...... ๐Ÿ‘

      Hahahahahaโ€ฆ..

I forgot about this thread. Itโ€™s soooo much fun even pummeling each other. Letโ€™s get it going again!!

Typhoon What do you NOT like about them and how do they compare to what you would normally game.

Can't think of anything I don't like about them. Compared to what I normally play, they are smaller with a narrower sole. They're not really "strong" lofted, but they are a tad longer than I expected.

Impressions after today's round. The Callaway Rogue ST Max head is better sounding and feeling than the Paradym X head. No longer, no shorter, but more forgiving and straighter.

Acer XV Pro irons heads on iDrive shafts should not be overlooked if wanting a low-cost good performance iron build.

Is there a paradym Max? Didn't know how comparable the 2 heads were.

            Typhoon

I'm pretty sure X = MAX in the Paradym line. Most of my shots were center struck so the head comparison is probably apples to apples. I have not tried both heads with the same shaft yet. Stand by.

That's surprising. I like my Rogue ST Max, but I've heard the Paradym is a bit more forgiving and better sounding. Of course everyone's opinion of better feeling/sounding is different.

Straighter... there's this years MOI for ya. You don't really hit anything that far offline so its no biggie.

KCee Paradym is a bit more forgiving and better soundi

The Paradym doesn't really have a sound per say. It's the most muted/quiet driver I've ever hit. That being said, it could be "better" for some.

                sdandrea1 It's the most muted/quiet driver I've ever hit.

That's what a member at my club said. I tend to like muted so I might like it better. He offered to let me hit it, but after a guy's Ping driver shaft broke in my backswing I don't do that anymore lol.

                  ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

sdandrea1 Yup, feel comes from sound. And itโ€™s whatever people prefer. Some people like the muted sound and softer feel. Feels more powerful to them. Others prefer the aluminum bat sound like the old Cobraโ€™s and Nike Square-Squatch

Well shit - more proof that the shaft matters. I played 6 holes today with the Paradym X head on the Aldila NV Proto HL 55g A flex shafts and it's a different animal. I dropped the loft from 12 to 11, in the draw setting and hit a few drives to new places in the fairway (center and LONGER). 18 hole contest, road test tomorrow. Now I gotta put the Rogue ST Max in the -1, D hosel setting and compare.
