DonM Would they be Holy Grail?

Ha,ha. Hell no. I've yet to find a Holy Grail club. Kinda like space aliens. Not sure they exist. 😎

Typhoon Steve will be unstoppable now with his g400sft

I had a Holy Grail day with it today. It was our monthly Scramble. Hit every fairway and it's as long as anything else I've tried. I might stick with the R flex Alta CB. Love the sound and feel (again). 😉

Demo'd @Bravopilot's KSIG putter today. Nice unit. Has a pleasing click at impact and the ball rolls off nicely. Alignment marks are easy on the eyes. Stock Super Stroke grip is good. I put the 2 x 20g weights in it and it still feels too light to me. I struggled with my lag putts, but from 10 feet in, was able to stop the ball right at or in the hole (made 2 of those). If it was mine, I'd go with the Flatso and add an inch of length to the shaft. I have no idea how well the finish will wear. The paint on the sole and the weights looks great, but who knows how it holds up. Headcover is VERY nice. I'm not a fan of PING ANSER style putters (prefer half and full mallets), but if I was, I'd put this in contention. It's a great price for what seems to be a high quality putter, once you dial in the grip, weight, etc.

I have not hit the KSIG wedges yet.

johnnydoom You're just taunting us now!

Everyone here already knew this model is an awesome unit. 😉

sdandrea1 Nice review. I’m an Anser/Anser2 fan. A few of our guys have the ksig and I tried it on our putting green. No complaints! The wedges though as you’ll see are not Vokey or Callaway Jaws sized… more like midsized. I little too big for me.

        Typhoon wedges are not Vokey

Good size for average hackers and also no special grinds, IIRC.
Square set up for the most part.

          Spuzz no special grinds, IIRC.

Yeah, FWIW I hate all the grind and bounce options. I’ve have the OG pm grind wedges forever and they come in one bounce and grind… it’s what I like amd I’ve never had an issue. Too many options has your always second guessing

Typhoon Too many options has your always second guessing

            Too many "letter" grinds now.
Basic heel relief that doesn't increase bounce a lot when you open the face is all I need.
No idea what letter that is? C? or maybe S?

              sdandrea1

When you move off it use it as a door stop, so you don’t have to rebuy it a third time. Lol. Like I said it’s a classic. I’m not buying anymore clubs right now. I’ll never sell my G400 even though it’s in backup mode.

It has a better sound than my G425, but sound doesn’t bother me. I remember the Cobras that sounded like an aluminum baseball bat. Everyone could hear you on the range when hitting those drivers. I’m results oriented, so that trumps everything.

Spuzz Too many "letter" grinds now.

I think all the grinds they're selling us on now is bullshit.

              1. It's over-thought and will get amateur players overthinking.
              2. NOBODY plays all of their golf on the same turf/lies. You'd need every grind depending on where your next round is.
              3. Good news, though- it DOES give you a new excuse for chunking it or nailing it right in the forehead. "Wrong grind".

Yeah...I've taken those "what grind should you be playing?" tutorials on websites a hundred times, and I
still don't know what the hell I should be playing! I keep muddling through with my old Maltbys and the
                Cleveland Smart Sole.....

Eguller It is rare that I use a wedge over 25 yds., except for a PW or GW. A cast SW/LW just has such a harsh feel to it, even inside that 25 mark.

Spuzz I'll have to go back and see what brand I was looking at a couple days ago, but I swear, they had a T grind wedge! WTF is that???😲

edit: It's Vokey, and I'm sure every company now will have it...........

Who It’s For: Golfers who play in firm, hard conditions and need a low-bounce option around the greens.
