If I didn't already own a XXIO Prime 9 driver I'd try this one. I did look at the fairway woods and hybrids. They only go to 5 hybrid (no 6 or 7) so I guess that will keep me from buying them (thank God). I did look at the irons but without a full set 3-7 hybrids, they won't do it for me either. Looks like I'm set for the year (so far) with what I used the year before last.

sdandrea1 Using Rockbottom's 25% coupon, I recently ordered the Honma driver and 3 wood for $300 shipped. I thought it was great value for 2 nice Japanese clubs. My only minor complaint so far is the adjustment mechanism, which must have been designed by engineers who don't play golf.

After 18 holes I'd move the Honma XP-1 into OMG Holy Grail status. It's basically a XXIO. Lightweight, light shaft, high torque, draw-biased club. Sounds and feels soft. Ball jumps out there and goes! Mine is a 10.5.

The adjustable hosel is weird. The translated instructions are even worse. I'm not touching the settings anyway. It's a striper.

        Bullshit!
This is just your own way of self-subliminal thinking, in order to build up the $$ stash that will buy the next Holy Grail.
It is futile. You tried it, it was great, sell it now!! Move along....'while we're young'. Dammit.

          Par4QC Bullshit!

It's a fucking review thread! I'm just posting my opinion! JAYSUS! I didn't claim it was the last driver I'll ever buy. Loosen your panties!

          Cobra looks legit. πŸ˜‰

I've been demoing a Callaway Big Bertha B21 3w for a few weeks. This club has more offset than I've ever seen in a Callaway. I'm not much for 3 woods since I struggle to launch them off off tight turf, but I gave this a try on our long par 3s. It launches well for me off a tee and it's pretty easy to hit straight. The stock A flex shaft feels solid. I have used it off the fairway on a few par 5s and while I can't launch it high, the low running shots roll out much further than my Perfect Club.
