sdandrea1 What's your favorite older model that is still relevant? I think the 2007 TM Burner is one of the best performing units they ever made. PING G10 is tied with it. Adams 9088 UL is close. Cleveland HiBore gets my honorable mention.
gllama sdandrea1 I agree about the 9088UL. Really long, great feel, muted sound. Hitting some of my longest drives with this head.
bigshank sdandrea1 07 burner is the starter in my bag. It’s actually benched the g400 max. Also the G10 was probably my most successful driver of all time and in my bag the longest. 975d was a goodie as well.
Par4QC Launcher 400. Pair it with an NV65. Put it in my cold hands when it's time. I'd be 'happily' gone forever. Just looked at 1 a couple days ago. Now I gotta get. Why you gotta ask crap like this in here....do it on FB where I can't see it. 🤣

braveheart Par4QC If you want, I have one for you. It’s an 8.5 with the Launcher gold stiff flex shaft. Pay for shipping, it’s yours.
wishbone Spuzz I've still got one, but the lift is too low and the shaft too stiff for my feeble seeing these days. 983k would have to be up there too
Mattyv The TM 2007 Burner for sure. I actually just sold one of my Titleist 975D's the other day so I will throw that one in also.
johnnydoom The gap in my OEM driver experience jumps from a steel shafted Taylor Made System 2 Midsize to Titleist 917 D2! Didn’t play anything but components between those two.
JoeHatesSnow Weirfan 510TP There are no others 😉 I really liked that one, but for me the R580xd was better. I always thought that maybe the R580xd TP would be the best, but never got to hit one.
toraider If you follow the classic iron thread, only persimmon model drivers should qualify. Everything mentioned in this thread is an older Modern drivers. Gotta be another 25+ years before classic should even be considered for the drivers in this thread! Plus we are disqualifying @Spuzz comment because he probably bought the Titleist driver in component form and it would not be considered OEM. 😁

LBlack14 Par4QC I missed the other one and found a replacement. I'm telling you, this was, probably, the best feeling head I've ever hit. Had to have another and the $14.99 price tag (PIAS) was hard to beat. I've had this one for a bit.
Par4QC LBlack14 Steve and I both had one, way back when we could swing hard. Damn those things took some ooomph. Hard faces, can't believe LDers never picked up on them.
LBlack14 Par4QC Hard faces Really? Never felt like that to me, that's why I liked it so much. Even had a muted, soft sound to me.
