I don't see how it can get chipped up with the head cover. I've not had issues with any TM club I've ever played.

sdandrea1 If the headcover is magnetic close, check the area of the magnets. I've had the SMT covers do some damage when the magnets got exposed through worn material.

Yes, understood. I didn't do any investigation. Just stripped it and painted it. Probably have to do it again. 🤣 Geezer arts and crafts.

You got this! Last Tee Geezer arts and crafts has prepared you well for this duty.

Taylormade has always been a struggle for me. The last new expensive irons I bought years ago were Taylormades. They were like $900 OTD and Taylormade priced them at $399 not 90 days later. Not so much a durability issue, but that stung.

I think a lot of the problem for all manufacturers is keeping the quality up there coming out of China.
