Yeah, I've got maybe 2 backup putters that quite frankly will probably never see the light of day again. I've putted too well with my current putter over the years to even contemplate trying something different. What I should do is locate an identical backup and have it just in case something ever happens to it. The problem is that they're so old that they're hard to find, left-handed anyway.
Hybrids... refuse to buy anymore I've got so damned many of them. I've come to realize that if you can't hit a particular style too well - you probably can't hit any of them too well. And I've tried enough of them to know. To this day - I still swap out 3&4 hybrids more than any other club in my bag. Adams, to Cobra, to TaylorMade... they all work with the proper technique, and none of them work if you suck.
As is the case with just about every piece of equipment made.
But putters... there's just something a little more personal happening there. When you find one that makes you feel like you can make everything - you'd best not get even greedier.
