Pretty sure BMI doesn't have age in the calculator or body TYPE or muscle content. I think it's a pretty vanilla formula.

sdandrea1 I was just merely too short for my weight. I plan on getting taller.

I told my Dr. something similar once and he said, "You wouldn't like being 7'9" tall. 😉

Typhoon We're the little kids on the block. My BMI is only 22.
40 years ago it would have been 33.

I'm still just barely hanging in the "Overweight" category. Like @sdandrea1 I hope to get taller in my old age. Been hanging from the pullup bar daily, but I think my arms are just getting longer.

As it happens, 2 of my grandsons spent the night last night. We decided to measure their height since they're both teenagers and growing daily. Corey, the 13 yo is 5'10, Jesse (15) is 5'10 1/2", and I have shrunk from 6'0" to 5'10" 1/2. My weight hasn't changed tho.....😡

As someone who used to help train several local, small police depts. in shooting skills at the gun club, you would be amazed and stunned at how poor their shooting skills are - unless they are SWAT Team member or former military they really only trained to pass the yearly qualification test...Most small departments had a small ammunition budget only used for the qualification tests, any practice they did they had to supply their own ammunition...

raggmann54 most rank and file cops barely shoot enough to qualify every year. Unless they are involved in recreational shooting, hunting or something similar, most cops seem to be happy to never shoot ever again.

Walterjn Friend of mine was a cop. One time he was involved in a shooting. He just “emptied the gun”, never hit the guy. The cop was being shot at and opened his cruiser door for protection. He said to me, “ opening the door doesn’t work, the bullets go through it. I see them open the doors on TV shows….”🙄

Typhoon I see nobody bothered to tell him that cop cars are not bullet proof in real life. Methinks that the police academy's need to start with old car doors and some balloons behind them. Shoot the door with the service weapon and see what happens to the balloons.
Maybe teach some people HOW to think, and not just recite the tomes they have had beaten into their heads...

I’m amazed the world still evolved while I was on vacation for 10 days doing nothing but lying on a beach or by a pool drinking.

So that was last week… let’s look ahead, I have to work the day job and then go to the nite job Monday- Wednesday. Nick needs the car Wednesday and Thursday. Friday I have the day job and then TM fittings. Saturday I’m in the pro shop again and Sunday have to go to an 80th birthday party.

At some point either this week or Next week I have to take my youngest and his wife for an appointment one day, don’t know which one. Might have to take the wife’s truck if I don’t have a car. So this is why I’ve had years where I just don’t bother playing golf

raggmann54 Got enough out there now. Nicks and my Wife’s in the garage. I park behind my wife, Nicks GF that lives with us parks on his side at the end of the driveway so he can get his car out and do a little “s” maneuver to get out.

It just makes me wonder
