The persons that decided upon, and approved putting plastic oil filter canisters with replaceable cartridges on Toyota vehicles last decade are dillholes. At least they went back to cans after a few years, but what added mess and pain in the butt. Whatever is saved from the environment in the disposable metal canister is lost in oil soaked paper towels.
