Walterjn I was just checking out your club. Couple of questions, holes 11 & 12 how hard is it to cut the corner?
It’s not worth it. On 11 you’ll search forever for your ball. 8 times out of 10 you won’t find it. If you were cutting the corner the only place you could miss would be to the right, which would be the front of the green if you layer it correctly. There is brook, more woods, a bridge, no fairway, just shit and weeds.
On 12 the pine trees are awfully high so it’s tough to hit it long enough and high enough. If you do get through and end up on the left side it’s all downhill and stumps. Not worth the risk. On 11 I’ll hit something 210ish and then it’s 100-110 to the green. 12 is a weird downhill and flattens out some at the bottom. Plays about the same distances as the 11th plays. 12 has a tough landing area though because of the way the trees are on the right side and if you go to far off the tee you’re in the woods or under tree branches and won’t hit the green
