Texas A&M beats MS State 51 - 10 and both head coaches get fired within two days. Apparently A&M decided to fire Jimbo last week no matter what. MS State firing Zach Arnett only 11 games into his head coaching career is a little surprising, but he took over a senior loaded team that won 9 games last year and now it looks like they'll do well to finish 5 - 6. He took a team with players recruited and trained for the air raid offense and successfully converted it to the Chicago Bears offense. Seems like a good man and I hope he lands with a team where he can coach to his style, but the jarring turnaround with a veteran team was too much for alumni and fans to handle. It was a tough spot to be in with the sudden death of coach Leach at the end of the season last year.
