Walterjn from what I'm understanding, so is Canada...

I saw the pictures of New York City with the heavy smoke. That's bad for the fire being so far away. We looked
almost that bad a few weeks ago here in SW MN. That smoke was from fires in Alberta. The wind was northwest
for several days in a row and the smoke was pushed down here. New England is getting smoke from a couple
places in Canada. I feel for them. The smoke got bad enough here that it somewhat affected my breathing while
I was outside and the smoke out east seems to be worse than it was here. It did get thick enough that it looked
like fog rolling in and you could easily smell it.

      Smoke is in the air......"Quick, we need to mask up, or we will choke!"

      COVID-19 is in the air......"No fucking way will they make me wear a mask!"

        You already knew how. It is an inbred trait. I'm assuming it is genetic to all living creatures, from everything I've seen in the world.
        And the past few years it seems to have mutated.

        You may be just now learning how to use it.

          Par4QC I can see smoke, but can't see smoke and mirrors. Regardless, never wore the mask anyway, just avoided those areas.

                      Things don’t look bad here today, but our air quality index is rated as poor and I did feel like I labored a bit more than usual while mowing the lawn.

                      If I believed all the commercials on TV now, I would think there are no more same race/same nationality couples any more, and that almost 1/4 of all couples are of the LGBTQIA+ community.

                        We've crossed WAY over the line. Equilibrium is just around the corner. We just need to agree on a list of shit that isn't offensive. Should be doable, yes?

                            And those kids in the commercials are not always going to look like the Mother, in real life. Partly why I'm not believing all of them. 😄

                                I didn't mean the commercials were offensive. I meant that advertisers are worried that their market will be offended if they don't show enough commercials with racial, gender equity. Good idea, but do MOST of the commercial have to show equity?

                                    We had enough Canadian wild fire smoke here this morning that it effected my breathing on my first nine
                                    this morning here in SW MN. By the time I finished my second 9 it was getting better and now it's pretty nice out. The smoke has pretty much dissipated. It's 84° with very light wind of less than 5 mph. Almost a perfect summer day.

                                      Par4QC So smoky here it's almost like a light fog.

                                      In KY today a clear blue sky looked yellow all day and is supposed to be worse tomorrow with very bad air conditions.
