johnnydoom it was not uncommon for me during NCAA BB conference tournaments and March Madness to go to lunch on Friday at some place with TVs and not return to work. Now I have a TV in the room right next to me and I don't care enough to even check on the games. Just one more reminder that I'm getting old.

1st Friday, every year, a friend of mine has an open door policy/party. Has a small bar in his small basement, "Thirsty's". A lot of folks knock off work that day. I bet 50-75 people go through there throughout the day. I play brackets and draw teams, otherwise, I probably wouldn't give much of a shit, except for the locals, Xavier, UC & Ohio State included.

      LBlack14 I’m hoping Memphis and MS State get in. It would surprise me to see either make a run, but they’ve had good seasons.

        I don't care much about NCAA playoff games any more since my MN Gophers suck.

              Rickochet Didn't really have that often when young, never tried cooking bacon when on my own, too much work. I do like breakfast ham in England during my trips there, not sure if they (Brits) call it bacon, not exactly the same but similar.

                  If you have a griddle for your grill it's very easy. Using the grill solved one of my wife's reasons for not
                  cooking bacon. She hates that it makes the whole house smell like bacon.
