Lay's Layers are yucky. Wife's friend gave her a bag of each flavor: sour cream & onion and three cheese. They are a puffy potato snack. 16 year old daughter tried them and said they weren't nearly as good as similarly flavored potato chips and, in fact, were not even appealing. I tried a couple of each and agree with her. Nothing to make you gag or anything, but nothing I'll ever eat again either.

Not sure how Lay's managed an unappealing potato snack, but they did it.

                        That place is soft all season, rain or not. Last time I was there I had to wipe every ball/every shot. And had not rained for 2 weeks.
                        Others will be/are doing the same around here. Makes Fall golf a PITA. Can't putt. Have to roll the ball out of holes in the fw. IF you can find a flat surface.

                            johnnydoom Punching is fine. This plugging BS ruins the whole course. And takes weeks to get back to normal. They must be planning an early close this year. They are with me.
                            Plus, they won't reduce fees.

                                Par4QC I didn't use the right terminology. I meant plugging. And it does ruin the golf for a couple of weeks. They cut the price in half, but I still don't want to play until the sand fills the holes and the grass starts growing back in.
