An initial deadline for the merger was set for December 31. But now, The Telegraph has claimed that it probably won't happen by then. The PGA Tour and LIV Golf still hope to make a deal, it has been reported, possibly before the Masters in April, with an announcement expected in the coming days for the deadline to be extended.
“There’s no chance a deal can be announced by the end of this week,” a source told The Telegraph. “But, maybe by the end of March.”
