A semi-random thought relating to the potential for mixed events - would there be any way of including female professional golfers into the Pebble Beach Pro-Am? The courses are already set up for golfers of a wide range of abilities (including multiple teeing areas), and the three-course setup gives more flexibility than most events to have a larger field.

Seems the Rahm signing to LIV has sped up negotiations. The latest talk is the PGA Tour will partner with Fenway Sports Group and PIF to form PGA Tour Enterprises. Jay Monahan used to work at Fenway Sports Group.

Fenway Sports Group was founded by John Henry (Henry owns 40%) and Tom Werner. The Group owns the Boston Red Sox, Pittsburg Penguins, Liverpool Football and NASCAR's RFK Racing. A minority owner is Lebron James.

As usual the devil is in the details, but it sounds like this could happen.

Should never be grade school contact sports at all. Not even jr. high/middle school.

But, there is. Dumbassed parents today!!

At 225# of almost solid muscle, and as a winning 50 yd. dash man., plus capable of kicking 40+ yd. FGs in high school, I hated my Dad for not signing the insurance forms that would allow me to play football.

But, maybe he was right, to a point. I've never been hurt/injured otherwise. And experienced a good life(so far).

Just saw highlights for the PNC on Sportscenter. 2 minutes of Charlie hitting and posing. One shot of Tiger chipping one close. And, oh yeah, as they transition into the next segment they show that they’ve tied for 11th.

I watched some of it yesterday. The coverage basically followed Tiger and JT's group while showing mostly replays of the others. I didn't mind seeing a lot of Charlie but it was a shame not to see more of the other players. Will McGee (Annika Sorenstam's son) was having a great day. I wanted to see a lot more of that little guy.

I didn't watch every second of the tournament. I would've like to see more shots from Will the thrill McGee & Jason Langer. I don't think they showed more than one shot from Justin & Luke Leonard and Nick & Greg Price.
