raggmann54 Rumor now is that the Powers-That-Be at Augusta "asked" Phil not to come this year. They do not want the circus that would accompany him to mar their Tournament...From the article I read there are 2 books coming out soon - one the Shipnuk Biography and also a book by gambler Billy Walters, who is Phil's ex-friend who got burned by Insider Trading. There are expected to be some other revelations about Phil that his Sponsors and the PGA don't want any part of????
Par4QC ode You misspelled Richard, but that's OK with him, no doubt, after reading this.😉 https://www.golfchannel.com/news/richard-bland-49-journeymans-journey-continues-masters-spot-sight
ode Forgot they do 36 today......early risers out on the tube! Anyone see Rahm putt lately? Looks like sh1t IMO, stance is super upright.
Spuzz Par4QC misspelled Richard, The announcers yesterday (not sure which one, could have been Chamblee) mispronounced Richard with Robert :/
Rickochet Eguller Eguller Shame we didn't get a match between Na & Kisner.![Giphy - puke GIF] Watching the finals today Kisner gets the Lugi award for most spitting. (
Rickochet Watching the PGA this weekend I see so many pros and their caddies reading the putts by standing straddling the putting line and looking down. I call this the pecker plumb bob. Who started this crap?
Rickochet azgreg Aim Point. The first pro I remember seeing do it is Adam Scott. My concern is that the amateur hacks will start doing this in addition to using the alignment mark on the ball a further increase slow play.
Spuzz Rickochet My concern is that the amateur hacks will start doing this in addition to using the alignment mark on the ball a further increase slow play. It's been around for more than 10 years, so if it hasn't happened by now, it's not likely it will.
Eguller Sarnella True. I tried it for grins, but I'm too old to feel the diff. If I'm winded, I know it is uphill. 😜
garyt1957 Sarnella Because nobody knows WTF the pros are doing. A guy in these tournaments I play does it. His group always clogs up thye course, it's a running joke. But he is a good putter.
