Par4QC Why does Cantlay hate Bryson? Just from this last tournament.

garyt1957 it's because Bryson asked him to stop walking when he was in his routine. Zinger commented on it and suggested it was an issue, so now the social media types won't let it go and it takes on a life of its own. It happens with a few guys I play with who are always on the move. I'm in my routine and look up and they are walking ahead. It's poor etiquette and should be called out, just like BD did. I've done it and noone hates each other, lol!

garyt1957 I doubt he hates anyone. He wouldn't even talk down about the incident yesterday. He's there for the golf, not drama, as some seem to be.

Bryson, imo, seems like a small child at times......hell, all the time. 'Needing' attention/getting his way, always.

I'm hoping he does donate the money he is going to get from the social media deal.🤔

BD seemingly had a great week interacting with the crowd, he was giving fist bumps to the patrons between holes. He played some super golf. That's what I'll remember, as well as PC amazing putting down the stretch. This article pretty much reinforces my point stated earlier. He picks apart BD's every move, most of it a stretch to reinforce his point, that BD is always the story🤔, IMO this week for the right reasons!

I don't know about 'cheater', but he sure is an f'n liar. But, we all should have known he did not just have 'pneumonia'. I don't like nor dislike the fella, but I'd be kicking his ass to the curb, for this week esp., and any thoughts of him being on the RC team.

How does that make him a liar? I would think a doctor would be able to tell if he had pneumonia well before test results for Covid came back. It's not like they are mutually exclusive.

Since when did an official on their own interject them self into a golf match?

I don't recall at anytime a official doing this and on top of it, it was a poor judgement call imo,

Martee C'mon, Martee. Do you honestly think they would have been in that big a hurry to give her the putt if it had ended up six inches away? If they were playing and they hit that putt, would they walk up and tap it in that quickly? If the answer to both questions is no, then the ruling is correct and they deserved to lose the hole.

One final question: if they were so sure that the ball wasn't going to go in, why did they rush up there to grab it and toss it to Nelly? Actions speak louder than words. I think it was the right ruling, and I think the officials were right to make the call.

rsvman2 I just laughed, when I saw her do it, thinking this is going to be a pay back for Petterson's gamesmanship.
Yet I knew Nelly would never say anything about it.
