Hard to not like Stu. Nothing fancy about him, stays out of the limelight (as long as he keeps his lid on lol), and doesn't panic and throw in the towel when he hasn't won an event for a while.

It's always good to see the older guys catching lightning in a bottle and showing the younger flat bellies how to win golf tournaments once in a while.

I followed Cink years ago at some event near here......probably US Open or one of the PGA venues near Bethesda. His ball striking is memorable, especially when you're standing a few feet away. I'll never forget that sound.

Nice to see both Stewart Cink win again and see Lydia Ko back in the winners circle as well. I've mentioned this before, but Leadbetter committed malfeasance with Ko changing her swing to coincide with his A swing book.

She wanted to be able to hit a draw and he screwed her all up. She seems to be back on track with Sean Foley.

At the Canadian Open I had the pleasure of front row ,small tee box (bags were right beside me) on a driver hole and that sound is unforgettable. I witnessed the likes of Vijay, CH3, Carlos Franco and others let it rip.
I also saw Corey Pavin take a divot with his driver LOL

Spuzz I used to go to the John Deere Classic and sit in the stands, just behind #1 tee. It's more or less set among the trees and the fw is aiming down, across a small valley, before heading uphill left. I sat there as all the time slot guys hit. BOOM! Everyone damn one of them sounded almost the same. Even louder with the echo, but could almost feel vibrations. I think Justin Leonard was actually the loudest. Then. I'd move over to the 10th tee, that is wide open. Same sounds!
