Spuzz Yet another reason to consider LIV golf, imo.

This brings up an interesting point. For those that are interested in a short & lucrative golf career, LIV is the venue. If you're goal is to retire early and rich, then why not? Woods was personally driven to win, dominate, be the GOAT. There's got to be guys who are more focused on playing and "earning" enough to go do something else while they're young. I've always suspected that Fowler was one.

Me too on Fowler.
Rex has stated before that these young guns (JT for example) will not likely be around for the Champions Tour.
I agree.
Today's women are not like yesterday's women.
There aren't many Barb Nicklaus, Vivienne Player types around anymore.

But she is also extremely smart and I think she is 'handling' him, instead of others doing it. She told him 'go', and he jumped!
That of course might be just 'a bit' of the new age wife also though. 😄

Spuzz. It's not just the wives, these guys make so much money they don't need the ChampionsTour pension . There'll always be some guys who just don't know what else to do with themselves and will continue to play. I bet most of the wives are pretty happy having them gone while they do spa days with the girls

ode Yeah, he already stated he was going. That's why the 4 guys got into the Korn Ferry tournament, when he let the PGA know early. Not going to play til next year though, or maybe late this season.

Par4QC well that surprises me with his affiliation and love for the team events. Can flush that down the terlet for the foreseeable future. Although he's an odd duck, I could have seen him play some role with the teams, maybe even captain!
