Anyone try the 2016 Callaway Fusion driver? Thoughts? Launch angle, etc?

At $400, I'm too scared too try one....................I might like it.
They're releasing their "Epic" driver soon that's supposedly going to "revolutionize" driver technology. And it's gonna cost $500...
.830 COR can only be so epic, right?
Epic is suppose to max out core across more if the face. New tech per wrx speculation.
So I guess no one has tried the Fusion?
So, no one has yet hit the Fusion. Bummer. I would have thought that someone would have st least demo'D it.
I likely won't try either of them. For that kind of money they would have to swing themselves and result in a 300+ yd. drive in the center of the fairway to justify buying one for me.
... I am a closet Callaway kind of guy though.
Bought one. Had a demo XR16 in my bag for a month and was sold on it, but waiting for the Callaway & Titleist demo days to simply try out some of the other stuff, just in case. Myself and at least 3 other guys I know ordered the Fusion either on the spot or afterwards.
Everybody's swing is different, this club head and shaft combo just seemed to work for me. Distance isn't much different from anything else I've hit, but accuracy was my priority. This club gives me reduced back spin, better roll-out, better dispersion (especially on mishits), my misses don't go as far astray, etc, etc, etc. Launch angle is hard to say. I hit this 10.5 degree lower than my other drivers, probably about 13.5, yet I've loaned it to a couple of other guys and they tower the ball (probably about 16 degree launch). One of them now has a Fusion demo in his bag and is highly likely to buy it.
Great to hear. I picked up the Fusion with the Red Diamana stiff. I've also got the Speeder 665 stiff shaft in my XR that I can try.
