We have 1 course here that has the fastest in the Midwest, imo. Course is always great, but the greens are a devil. Almost 100% are sloped/slanted, so they don't hold much water.

I shot 38-40-78 today at Bella Vista Golf Club in Coldwater, MI. This place is a two hour drive from Toledo, but
we go there once a year to return the favor to one of our regular players who still drives to Toledo every week to
join us. The course is always great, and today the weather was ideal.....sunny, low 70's, perfect!
8 GIR / 30 putts / 6/8 Up & Downs.

The senior league today was the first round in about 3 weeks, after vacation and then catching some kind of respiratory crud. I played pretty lousy for 13 holes but went +1 on the last 5. Ended up with 91, net 72, good enough for a 3rd place tie in my flight.

77 for me yesterday. Playing the Senior tees due to a sore left shoulder. Can still move out there 220+. A really good drive is 230+ and occasionally I will get one 240 (hit one 247 yesterday - absolutely smoked it🙃, longest drive of the year).....~ 6000 yards is plenty for me these days although I will play the whites at 6400+ a few times a month. Typically will have 4h, 7w, or 3w in regulation on over half the holes. If it's wet or conditions are such (wind) I won't be getting home in regulation on several of the holes unless I hit two nutted shots. I don't mind as it's fun and a challenge!

ode No, a shank that found it's way through a hole in the driving range net. Drilled me solid on the fly. 1" higher and it would have gotten ribs. Luckily it just got old man fat.

Typhoon Just below the ribs fortunately. Plenty of cushion in that area. Laid on the ground a couple minutes, then carried on. It did help my putting after that.
