Played nine holes on the simulator with my wife, who hasn't swung a club in about a decade or so. We played Princeville.
I hit some good shots and some bad ones. Lipped an 8-foot putt and three-putted from 22 feet (sigh). But I hit my driver consistently, hit a few good 5-irons. I was having a tendency of hitting my irons a tiny bit fat, which was not great. Shot 42 straight up, no mulligans, from the 5780 yard (for 18 holes, obviously) tees, which was a pretty fair reflection of my ball striking.
My wife hit a few pretty well but mostly struggled. It's a hard game. By the 7th hole she didn't want to play, so I played two balls coming in, both from the same tee box. I went even par on her ball on holes 7-9, which beat my ball by one stroke.
The machine kept doing weird things, which was kind of frustrating. We asked the woman working there to fix the issues, but she was unable to. When the time came to pay, she said she couldn't take our money, given all the problems we had with the equipment. I tried to get her to just give us a discount, but the she refused to take anything. So we played for free.
