Eguller ok, you’re gonna laugh at this. And it’s typical “golf”🙄
So the problem has been a flip. It wasn’t my lower body stopping which is usually the cause. I might hit one fine but then it was back.
I could feel myself losing my grip and the club spinning shut at impact. I checked to make sure the club was square in the takeaway when it got to waist height. It was. So I figured if that was right and then it closed on the way down, lefts try rolling it open a bit going back and maybe it’d be square at impact.
That made it worse 🙄
I used to always hit a push draw and even over the winter my pro asked me where that went. So now the “aha”moment …. Let’s try the opposite!!! I decided to have the clubface closed on the backswing, my checkpoint was having it closed at waist height. I did that one thing and my push draw came back, no losing my grip and spinning shut. Just nice solid tiny push draws like I used to have.
And it was the correct feeling. Figured it out Tuesday night. Played Wednesday and I knew that was the issue, just had to get the timing back. Today it was all there like last year
