It was a tale of 2 nines for me today too, except in the opposite direction. I hadn't played in three weeks and it showed on the first 7 holes. I parred 9 and then had 6 more on the back. shot 54/41. One blowup hole on the back kept me out of the 30's.
It was a pretty nice day for July in Missouri. Humid when we started but the humidity dropped during the round. About 90 when we finished.
I hadn't played this course in a couple of years as it wasn't in very good condition the last time we played. I was pleasantly surprised how much better shape it was in today. Only one fairway (18) was a bit rough and the greens were all in good shape.
They paired us up with a single, boy that guy sure liked to talk!
