sdandrea1 The swing EPIPHANY is fleeting. It's like a virus that you contract and then "heal" back to reality.
Preaching to the choir. But this feeling lasted for months and resulted in the best ball striking of my golfing life.
Not going to give up on it. Just need to find a new epiphany trying to rediscover the old epiphany. lol
For the technical golfers. Physically I can’t externally rotate my right elbow / shoulder to shallow the club. I naturally internally rotate mainly my right elbow. Which steepens the shaft.
If you can naturally externally rotate your right elbow / shoulder you can shallow the club regardless of a steep, middle or flat backswing.
Since I can’t do that I have to have a flatter backswing to have a shallower downswing. Anyway, the search for the old epiphany will continue. In my 3 rounds since coming back there have been glimpses of the old epiphany.
Just need to find that key to the consistency I had with it before. In the words of the immortal Bagger Vance. I lost it, now I just have to find it. lol
