Mattyv Walterjn You have to start somewhere. Now you have a baseline. Did you have fun? If so, you are doing it wrong.😁
Spartan Mattyv We were watching Wheel of Fortune last night and one of the answers was "Enjoyable Round Of GOLF." My wife asked me if there was such a thing.
Par4QC Walterjn If it helps you, mentally, I was shooting 109-116 in the beginning. Yes....that WAS for 9 holes. No.....I am most certainly not shitting anyone. 👍 And, I could still do that today, if I put my mind to it. 😲
Walterjn Par4QC it does help... It makes the 5 over on one par 3 feel not so bad. Bright side, I got par on two holes. Par for 9 holes there is 29, I just shot a 45. I figure that now I have permanent proof. Map of the little course I just played.
golf_bhoy Walterjn Well, first time out. Shooting well over par. Then again, first time out. There's your highlights first and last, the bit in the middle doesn't matter for now 👏
Mattyv Walterjn Was only a joke. Keep going out and playing. It really is a great game. Frustrating but fun.
johnnydoom Walterjn I sometimes play one around here that is similar @ 9 holes par 33. It contains a 425 yard par 5, but it still takes 3 shots to reach the green unless you can drive the dogleg at 300 yards through a narrow gap.
Walterjn johnnydoom the longest hole here is 257 according to the scorecard. I was able to get my driver off the tee to about 40 yards off the green, a little bit difficult to see my ball due to shadows from the box. Such a great game
Walterjn Mattyv I get that completely!! My best was the 8th hole. Iron from the tee box to about 20 yards off the green, sw to within 2 feet of the hole, putt in for par. Everything just went straight, just a little bit short, except for the putt.
Walterjn Par4QC not sure about the blades... I'm enjoying my cb Callaways. The ProV1s maybe, I lost the bright orange Wilson on the 4 hole, tried a Wilson Hypertech(?), and lost that over the fence. It was like hitting a rock... I used a Volvik that I found left on the putting green the other day to finish my 9. I'm kinda liking that Volvik, might have to look into those a little more.
FauxAmish Walterjn Don't try the dark Blue Volviks ... You'll never see them in flight and good luck trying to find them. Trust me.
Rickochet FauxAmish Don't try the dark Blue Volviks There used to be Noodle Ice in dark purple that were just as difficult to see. I like the Neon Green and orange Volvik Vivids. Snell MTB-X Optic Yellow and Titleist Tour Soft Optic yellow are easy to see as well.
sdandrea1 meagain Not as hard to see as these I'll bet? I'm offended! Oh, wait.....I'm Italian. Carry on.
