KCee we liked Royal St Cloud lot
https://harmonygolfpreserve.com/
This jogged my memory. Too late now, but if you’re over that way next year. The Johnny Miller design Harmony Preserve is about as good as it gets. Only 30 minutes from Orlando airport. One of my favorite courses I’ve ever played.
“By wrapping the golf course around existing wetlands, Miller created visual excellence with quality course design and playability. Harmony Golf Preserve is 30 minutes from the Orlando airport, 10 miles east of St. Cloud, on U.S. 192. With impeccable conditions and a fun layout, Harmony is worth the drive.”

KCee we liked Royal St Cloud lot. Played a 9 hole scramble after 18. It was a long ride from Davenport with the traffic though.
Yep, I've never played Royal St. Cloud in less than perfect condition. And the traffic in the whole area is unbelievable....I'd go crazy if I had to drive in that every day!!
No golf yet but a couple days in a row at the range was nice for a change. Now we get back to reality. Rain and then colder weather. I’m fine with that, 2 nice days and everyone is asking me when the course will open up. Nobody understands we have to clean up branches, brush the sand off the greens… and we don’t want people out there taking divots that, IF they happen to replace them, won’t grow back.
Typhoon and we don’t want people out there taking divots that, IF they happen to replace them, won’t grow back.
So, you think it's the 'growing' season in NW IL right now?
1 course reported 807 rounds so far.
The course I played Sunday said it was a record rounds day.
And, according to what I read in your posts, who gives a shit about the condition of your course? The golfers don't.
Open up, losing money!!
89 today at Championsgate National. Crazy windy but I hit the ball well enough to shoot much better. Lost money today.

Par4QC What’s funny is the superintendent doesn’t want it to look like shit and the owner wants it nice…. But….$$
So last year the owner asked me how the course could be better. I told him to charge more money per round or for the carts… and I mean like $5 more per person so we can either have less people and make the same money and hopefully attract better golfers so the place doesn’t look like a shit hole.
I told him these people don’t give a shit because they don’t know any better. Either way you’ll get your money but my way (and the super agrees) the course doesn’t look like a battlefield

92 today in the senior league, which was decent considering the conditions. It was cloudy and 44 degrees with 14 mph winds (gusting to 20) when we teed off. It stayed windy and only warmed up to 52. I carded a quadruple bogey 8 on the second hole we played but parred the last 2 holes. I figured I finished in the money in my flight but was surprised to see 1st place by a stroke. The harsh conditions beat up the field, lol.
44-36
Good grief. 3 doubles on the front. Opened the back nine birdie, birdie.

80 at Tarpon Springs. No birdies. 63 degrees when we went out at 7:00. Beautiful morning for golf. Wore shorts for the first time in awhile. Clear sailing today. Didn’t run into anyone off the back. Went around in 3:20.
Sneakylong Wore shorts for the first time in awhile.
Same here. A LONG while.
